Accessible Adventures Program Facilitators
Access Adventure Club is on a mission to connect young people with nature, as a means of improving their wellbeing. We predominantly achieve this through delivering our Accessible Adventures programs all across Australia.

Role Description:
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for working with your Program Coordinator (team leader) to successfully deliver our Accessible Adventure programs. You’ll have the option to choose which programs you wish to book yourself onto, and we’ll know these dates at minimum 4 months in advance. Our programs are located mainly in nature-based destinations surrounding the major cities of Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The role can be summed up into 3 main components.
- Physically and emotionally supporting 1 or 2 young people as part of a larger group, in a variety of nature-based programs
- Offering reports and updates to guardians about the progress and milestones that the young people you are working with, have achieved
- Working as part of team and using your specialised skills in the team when needed (see below for specialisations).

Specialisations:
To build strong, high-performing teams, we’re seeking facilitators with expertise in one or more of the following areas—or those who are eager to develop skills in these fields:
- Leading and facilitating outdoor activities
- Providing specialised care, including personal care and manual handling
- Driving minibuses (just generally those who are comfortable driving vehicles and are experienced)
- Serving as overnight shift monitors.
- Supporting young people with complex behaviour needs
Individuals who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, especially those interested in facilitating cultural workshops (training and support will be provided if needed)
Essential Items
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have—or be willing to obtain—the following:
- A Working with Children Check or valid Teacher Registration
- A Senior First Aid Certificate
- A completion certificate for Access Adventure Club’s induction and training modules
- Any other state-specific clearances that allow you to work with young people with disabilities

When and where is the work:
We run multiple programs every school holiday period, with occasional programs during the school term as well. Each program typically runs for 4 days and 3 nights.
We’re currently operate in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney and will soon be providing programs in Melbourne. Most of our camps take place in authentic, nature-based locations, usually 1 to 3 hours from major cities, as we aim to deliver experiences in the most beautiful and natural settings.
Renumeration:
As a contractor with your own ABN (which is simple and affordable to set up—we’re happy to guide you through the process if you’re successful), you’ll earn between $425–$500 per day. The more programs you have under your belt, the higher your pay.
During each program, we also cover all accommodation and provide chef-prepared meals. Plus, you’ll have the chance to earn extra through individual ‘Player of the Match’ bonuses and team rewards when your group achieves a ‘match win’ on a program.
